We are excited to announce that Valerie Comer has agreed to become a contributor on our site! Valerie Comer is a published novelist who lives on a small farm with her husband, Jim, here in Creston BC.
Val says that she has always loved to read and write. Some of her earliest childhood memories include learning to read with her sister in the attic bedroom of her family’s northern Manitoba home. However, her writing career bloomed later in life and her fiction debuted in May 2012 as a part of Rainbow’s End, a novella collection published by Barbour Publishing. A copy of Valerie’s book is available in our church library.
When she is not writing novels Valerie farms, blogs, spends time with her family and, in addition to all of that, she’s an avid local food enthusiast! You can learn more about Val at her site valeriecomer.com or better yet introduce yourself to her in person at our next Sunday service.
